The Canal de las Estrellas live on internet, is a television channel owned by Grupo Televisa. Channel stars (XEW-TV), ss TV channel with the largest audience in the Mexican territory. It is headquartered in Mexico City. Its programming is aimed at the whole family. This channel was aired on March 21, 1951 and in Latin America was launched in November 1992 by Emilio Azcarraga Vidaurreta. Transmit open to Mexican territory signal through relay stations. The vast majority of soap operas and programs produced by Televisa are first transmitted on this channel and then be sold to international broadcasters, and then be sent via satellite or fiber optics through Televisa Regional stations.
The channel is also broadcast on several continents such as America, Europe and Africa through pay television signal. This signal is produced by Televisa Networks. It is a direct competitor of Azteca Azteca TV channel 13.
History
It began broadcasting on March 21, 1951, being only the second grant of television in Mexico, only preceded by Channel 4 XHTV. The award was for the company Televimex, owned by Emilio Azcarraga Vidaurreta.
The first broadcast was a baseball game from the Delta Park,
later known as Parque del Seguro Social in Mexico City. In this transmission was: Roberto De la Rosa (Cameraman), Robert Kenny (Producer), German Leader (Assistant) and Pedro Septien 'The Wizard' (narration).
The channel initially staying at Televicentro, near the Historic center of Mexico City. Although Televicentro building opened until January 12, 1952, Channel 2 began airing the works still developing. The company General Electric provided the technicians who initially put into operation the tv.
